Investment Barrier in South Asian Countries:Implications to China and Policy Recommendations

当前中国对南亚的投资在中国和南亚双边所占比重都很低,与双边贸易形成鲜明对比。从投资壁垒的角度来看,南亚国家存在九种具体投资壁垒,尽管近年来有所降低,但隐蔽性有所增强,同时具有国家针对性。南亚国家投资壁垒会对中国对外直接投资、中国企业的海外投资成本、国际化程度等均带来影响。中国应该从完善与南亚国家投资自由化的促进制度和机制、提高对各类投资壁垒的应对能力和建立完善的海外投资保险体系等方面来应对南亚国家的投资壁垒。

9 investment barrier in South Asia were discovered in this paper. Such barriers can bring about an impact to China’s FDI,overseas investment from Chinese enterprises and its internationalization. China need to find out a comprehensive method to deal with such challenges. China need to improve institutions associated with investment liberalization in South Asia and enhance its own capability in dealing with the investment barrier.Overseas investment security system need to be encouraged.
