高校图书馆人角色研究:研究助手与侍读书童

A Study on University Librarians'Role:Research Assistants or Reading Attendants?

通过问卷调查和中南财经政法大学图书馆自动化管理系统统计数据,探讨高校图书馆如何在为数字阅读服务和为纸质阅读服务中保持平衡。第一,大学图书馆人既可扮教师书房的研究助手,也更能胜任大学生公共书房的侍读书童;第二,移动网络普及,手机阅读流行,移动数字图书馆的建设在高校势在必行;第三,改变图书馆人在公众中的刻板印象,以数字时代时尚的、有效的方式,进行图书馆营销;第四,珍惜读者对纸质阅读的感情,加强基础工作;第五,既重视学科专业馆藏建设,也应加强“人学”图书的建设;既为研习型阅读服务,也为成长型阅读服务。

Based on library system statistics and student questionnaire results in Zhongnan University of Economics and Law,this paper discusses what a university library could do to keep the balance between the services for digital reading and for paper reading.First,the university librarian should fulfill not only the role of a research assistant for teachers,but also the role of a reading attendant for students;Second,due to the growing popularity of digital reading via mobiles,the need of constructing a digital library that suits for this type of reading is urgent;Third,it is imperative for university librarians to change the stereotype image in public so that the library services can be promoted in updated and effective ways;Fourth,to strengthen readers'attachment to printed books,librarians should pay more attention to basic services;Fifth,university librarians should focus more on building“human-centered”libraries by providing quality services not only to those who conduct research but also to those who read for personal growth.
