Economic Theory of Jiang Shuojie and Economic Rise of Taiwan

正如进化论所表明的,事物的发展往往是外因和内因共同作用的结果,二者缺一不可。甚至内因往往比外因更为重要,原因是内因才能决定事物发展的方向和性质。台湾经济崛起的原因也是如此。遗憾的是当前主流观点过于强调日本殖民统治、美国援助等外在因素和条件,而将更为重要的内在因素忽略了。本文认为,包括日本殖民统治、美国援助等在内外在因素和条件,的确给台湾经济的崛起提供了一种可能,但只是一种可能。也正是由于这种可塑性,台湾的经济既有可能走向崛起之路,也有可能走向衰败之路。纵使在上述外在条件下,如果不是蒋硕杰和他的经济自由化观念改变了当时台湾经济改革的实际主导者尹仲容,其经济很可能不是崛起而是另一种结果。因此,我们认为在台湾经济崛起这一历史进程中,真正居于重要位置的是,蒋硕杰和他传播的经济自由化这一观念。因为正是它决定了台湾经济发展的方向和性质。

As the evolution theory shows,the development of the things is the results of external and internal factors,and they both are necessary.Moreover,the internal factors are more important than external factors,because the internal factors can deternmain the direction and nature of the development,so is the reason of the economic rise in Taiwan.Unfortunately,the popular opinion emphasized the external factors,such as the Japan clonial domination and American s help,and ignored the more important internal factors.This paper found out that the above-mentioned external factors provided the one possbility to the econimic rise in Taiwan,but that is it.With this possibility,the economy of Taiwan can go upward or downward.Jiang Shuojie and his theory of liberelization of econimics changed the opinion of Yin Zhongrong,who is the dominator of Taiwan s economic reform,there could be other result other than the economic growth.Therefore,the author found that Jiang Shuojie and his economic liberelization opinion has the truly important position and lay the foundation of the direction and nature of Taiwan s economy.
