English picture books are vivid,interesting,life-based,thought-provoking and rhythmical,so they are worthy of application in primary school English teaching.Integrating English picture books into primary school English teaching can stimulate students'interest in learning English,help them to produce holistic associative memory in reading,so that they can master scientific reading strategies.In the teaching practice,primary school English teachers should carefully select the contents of English picture books,teach students in accordance with their aptitude,and carry out efficient guidance.
