Objective To study the efficacy of sputum-containing quadruple therapy combined with Bifidobacterium quadruple live bacteria tablets on Helicobacter pylori(Hp)-positive peptic ulcer(PU)and its effect on Hp eradication rate and adverse reactions. Methods A total of 100 Hp-positive peptic ulcer patients were divided by random number table into control group and observation group, with 50 cases in each group. The control group received sputum-containing quadruple therapy, and the observation group received Bifidobacterium quadruple live bacteria tablets on the basis of the control group. Both groups were treated for 2 months. The efficacy,Hp eradication rate and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The observation group had higher total effective rate as 96.00%than 74.00%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The observation group had lower incidence of adverse reactions as 14.00%than 32.00%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The observation group had higher Hp eradication rate as 92.00%than 70.00%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Combination of sputum-containing quadruple therapy and Bifidobacterium quadruple live bacteria tablets shows excellent efficacy in treating Hp-positive peptic ulcer.
