章守玉先生早期“园艺”理念与实践研究

Study about Zhang Shouyu's Early "Horticultural" Concepts and Practices

章守玉先生是中国著名的园艺学家、造园学家。20世纪20—40年代,章守玉先生在中西文化碰撞、交汇的历史背景下展开了早期的理论思考与实践探索。通过梳理其"园艺"理念及总理陵园的园艺和造园实践,剖析他将"造园"内涵纳入"园艺"范畴的时代背景与成因,及其对风景营造及造园的理解和贡献,以期深化对我国传统风景园林近代转型历程及学科形成初始脉络的认识,同时为"中西交流""现代与传统"等风景园林学界持续关注的重要话题,提供前辈经验的回顾与参照。

Zhang Shouyu has been a famous horticulturist and gardener since the twentieth century.From the 1920s to 1940s,he developed his early theoretical and professional explorations under the historical background of Sino-Western cultural dialogue and exchange.This article makes a study on his"horticultural"concept and the corresponding practices in Sun Yat-sen's Cemetery.It analyses the historical background and the cause for the inclusion of"garden making"concept in his understanding of"horticulture"and his contribution to landscape architecture and gardening.It is intended to provide a further understanding of the transition process of the traditional garden culture and the formative situations of the Chinese landscape architecture discipline.At the same time,it would also hopefully provide a reference of forerunner experience for dealing with such crucial issues as Sino-Western exchange and modernity and tradition.
