Taking a tunnel project as an example,this paper analyzes the application of the three-step seven-step excavation method in the tunnel construction.First,it summarizes the construction advantages of the three-step seven-step excavation method.Secondly,it analyzes the preparation for the excavation,the excavation of the tunnel body,the initial support and inverted arch(filling,floor)in construction,the key points of application of the technology are analyzed in detail.Practice shows that the construction quality and safety problems of the tunnel engineering are improved through the application of the three-step seven-step excavation method.
