By introducing geological surveying and mapping in coal mining areas,this paper mainly analyzes the importance of geological surveying and mapping,and expounds the application of new surveying and mapping techniques in current geological surveying and mapping in coal mining areas,so as to improve the advancement of geological surveying and mapping techniques,which is conducive to the development of coal resources and promote the better development of China’s social economy.
