Talking about the Rainy Night of Bashu——Preface of Forever Companions on the Road: Exhibition of Eight Schoolmates from Sichuan Fine Arts Institute

1978年,党的十一届三中全会召开,中国共产党以伟大的改革开放带领中国走进新时代。40年来,改革开放深刻地改变了中国,极大地影响了世界。为纪念改革开放40周年,关山月美术馆特别策划"川上同行——四川美院八人展",以近距离微观的方式回望历史。来自四川美术学院的8位艺术家,以他们的青春参与了中国美术的开放之路,与中国的改革开放同行,将个人的生活与共和国的历史连结为命运共同体,他们的艺术之路,从微观层面呈现了中国美术教育和创作的40年巨变。

The Third Plenary Session of the 11th Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party was held in 1978,and with reform and opening-up,Communist Party of China has led China to stride into the new era.Reform and opening-up has greatly changed China and the world for 40 years,and in order to commemorate this,Guan Shanyue Art Museum has planned Forever Companions on the Road-Exhibition of Eight Schoolmates from Sichuan Fine Arts Institute,which reviews the history with the microscopic way in close range.8 artists from Sichuan Fine Arts have gone through the opening road of Chinese fine arts with their youth,keeping pace with reform and opening-up and integrating their personal lives with nation’s history.Therefore,their artistic paths have reflected 40 years’changes of art education in China and creation from the microscopic level.
