Public library serves to preserve the heritage of human beings,carry out social education,provide a scientific intelligence and develop intellectual resources.Since the site selection of public library has great impact on its functions,it should not be underestimated.Taking Tangshan library as an example,this paper discusses the matters to be taken into consideration while making site selection from the three angles of geography,aesthetics and geomancy.
