从记者到学者:基于推拉理论的研究

From Reporters to Scholars: a Research Based on the Push-pull Theory

传统媒体发展前景不佳,离职的记者为数众多。学界对记者转型为学者的关注不多。本文基于推拉理论,运用定性内容分析方法,探讨从记者转型为学者的影响因素。研究发现,记者转型为学者是个人、机构和社会三个层面的因素共同作用的结果,其中社会层面的因素最为关键。

With a dim prospect of traditional media,a large number of journalists chose to leave their posts.The academic circle pays little attention to the transformation of journalists into scholars.Based on the theory of Push and Pull,this paper employs qualitative content analysis to explore the influencing factors of the transformation from journalist to scholar.The study shows that the transformation of journalists into scholars is the result of the interaction of three factors at the individual,institutional and social levels,of which social factors are the most important.
