明代冯梦龙与凌濛初所编撰的"三言二拍"是我国古典短篇白话小说的巅峰之作,是明代市民文学的杰出代表。研究"三言二拍"的文学特色,可以从中管窥整个明代市民文学的整体特色。以"三言二拍"为代表的明代市民文学与传统意义上的正统文学有着诸多方面的差异,主要表现在文学题材的采撷、人物形象的构思、思想内容的选取以及艺术手法的运用等多个层面。

San Yan Er Pai("three words and two beats"),compiled by Feng Menglong and Ling Mengchu in the Ming Dynasty,represents the peak of Chinese classical short stories and vernacular novels and an outstanding representative of the Ming Dynasty civil literature.The study of its literary features gives an insight into the overall characteristics of the civil literature in Ming Dynasty.There are many differences between the Ming Dynasty civil literature represented by San Yan Er Pai and the traditional orthodox literature,which are mainly manifested in the collection of literary themes,the conception of characters,the selection of ideological content and the use of artistic techniques.
