京剧对南戏《白兔记》的改编

Adaptation of the White Rabbit from Southern Drama into Beijing Opera

京剧《白兔记》是据南戏原作改编的,结合舞台实际,对南戏原作作了改编,对于南戏原作情节删削和压缩,并对原作中一些不合理的情节作了改写。京剧本还对刘知远的形象作了改写,改变了南戏原作中刘知远负心的形象。另外,京剧本根据京剧的剧本形式和音乐结构的特征对南戏原作的文本形式和音乐结构作了较大的改动。

The adapted Beijing Opera the White Rabbit,to meet the needs of stage performance,has deleted and edited its original plot and even rewritten some unreasonable part of the story as a southern drama.It has also reshaped the image of Liu Zhiyuan,the hero,making him distant from being an unfaithful lover.Finally,the Beijing Opera version has made marked changes on the textual form and musical structure of the original drama in line with its counterparts in Beijing Opera.
