This paper analyzes the external artistic expressions and the internal aesthetic implications of flowers in Zhou bangyan’s cis(a type of classical Chinese poetry),combs the external portrayal of the fragrance,color and charm of flowers.Based on text analysis,it expounds the poet’s emotions revealed in his depictions of flowers.The melancholy he felt during spring time when he saw beautiful things turn to emptiness exhibits his rational sentiment.The sadness he felt when he missed his old friends shows his delicate feeling.The feeling he had when he saw something during his travel exhibits his loneliness.Through the descriptions of flowers,the poet has uniquely given expressions to his emotions.
