Ship shore power supply is an effective measure to reduce ship pollution.It has also become the main way to reduce port pollution emissions everywhere.It is becoming more and more respected by all the countries of the world.This paper starts from the perspective of patent analysis.The patent application concerning shore power of ships is analyzed.And it displays the distribution pattern of the patented ships in the world through four aspects:the global application trend,the distribution of patent application countries,the time distribution of patent application countries and the analysis of patent inflow and outflow in the various countries.It provides a reference for the research and development of ship shore power technology.
