释家神异与儒家话语:中古《五行志》的佛教书写 被引量:4

摘要 中古时期的正史里有不少佛教记述,除了《魏书·释老志》外,正史《五行志》中的佛教记载相对集中。本文以"永宁见灾"和"佛像流汗"两类佛教神异的叙述模式为例,分析此类神异故事被载入《五行志》的过程。大体在佛教史学创立之初,传统史学中的诸多叙述策略、思想观念等即流淌其间,难以区隔。有些释家神异故事本就是由士人创作,经僧传采录后又被正史吸收。有些神异故事则是以传统史学的笔法来撰写的。无论经由何种方式进入正史,都经过了改造,以符合儒家政治的理念。由于佛教神异故事与中古正史在"感通"上具有共同话语,前者才能在正史的话语体系内占有一席之地。 There are some Buddhist records in the official history of the Medieval Ages.Besides Weishu Shilao Zhi(《魏书·释老志》),the Buddhist records in Wuxingzhi(《五行志》)are relatively concentrated.This paper takes two examples to analyze how Wuxingzhi record the Buddhist supernatural power.In general,when the Buddhist historiography was first established,many narrative strategies and ideas from traditional historiography were employed,which were hardly separable from each other.Some of the stories concerning supernatural deities were first created by scholars,and then absorbed by the official history after being recorded by the monks.Other supernatural stories were also found in traditional historiography.No matter which way,before being recorded by the official history,these stories were ultimately reformed to conform to the concept of Confucian politics.Buddhist supernatural stories and the official history also share a common faith in the Realm of Dreams(感通),so the former can be recorded in the latter.
