Review of Petroleum Industry Development in Iraq

系统梳理并分析了伊拉克石油工业发展历程的六个阶段:第一阶段是1951年之前,石油工业萌芽期,西方列强对伊拉克石油工业的控制和瓜分;第二阶段是伊政府收回石油控制权;第三阶段是两伊战争期间;第四阶段是海湾战争之后;第五阶段是伊拉克战争期间;第六阶段是伊拉克战争结束后直至现在。研究发现,整个伊拉克石油工业发展史受战争的影响最为巨大。

This paper mainly cards and analyzes six stages of development history of Iraq petroleum industry.Stage 1 refers to the period before 1951,the embryonic stage,in which western powers controlled and carved up the petroleum in Iraq;Stage 2 is the period that Iraq government took back the right of controlling petroleum.Stage 3 is in the period of IranIraq war.Stage 4 refers to the period after the Gulf War.Stage 5 is during the period of Iraq war.Stage 6 means the period from the end of Iraq war to the present.So it is found out from this study that the whole development history of Iraq petroleum industry has been dramatically affected by wars.
