Safety Analysis for Nitrogen Purging on Dual-Fuel LNG Vessel

介绍双燃料LNG船舶供气系统中的一种重要安全措施——氮气吹洗系统,通过对双燃料主机或发电机内部燃气管的氮气吹洗、燃气阀组(Gas Valve Unit,GVU)与发动机之间燃气管路的氮气吹洗、燃气供给管路的氮气吹洗,达到去除管路和设备内残留天然气的目的,以增强燃气系统的安全性。系统地总结氮气管路的设计、吹洗量的计算、氮气吹洗的程序等,有助于相关人员对氮气吹洗系统的设计研究。

The Nitrogen purging for gas supply system on dual fuel LNG vessel is introduced.The nature gas could be removed by Nitrogen purging from some equipments and pipes including dual fuel main engine or dual fuel generator engine,gas valve unit,and gas supply pipe.The design of Nitrogen pipe,the calculation of purging quantity,and the procedure of Nitrogen purging are summarized,which could help the designer to design the Nitrogen purging system.
