Ornamental grasses as high-quality plants for flower landscape design have a sense of fantasy and broad adaptation.This paper classified the concepts,ecological features,morphologic characteristic and ornamental features of ornamental grasses,and analyzed the advantages and shortcomings of ornamental grass landscape and ornamental grass-flower mixed landscape.It also discussed the performance of ornamental grasses in flower landscape based on the practical cases,which proves their necessity and irreplaceability in flower landscapes.This analysis would have greater meaning to create the natural,ecological and saving flower landscape.
