Influencing Factors of Non-English Majors' Learning Motivation in Higher Vocational Colleges

影响英语学习效果最重要的因素就是动机。对于大多数英语学习者而言,如果其学习英语的动机非常强,那么在英语这门学科上投入的时间和精力就会多,这样一来学习效果会变得更好,有利于提高学习英语的积极性,形成良性循环。基于此,探讨高职院校非英语专业学生英语学习动机的影响因素并提出具体的激励策略,以期可以为相关专业教学提供借鉴。

The most important factor influencing English learning effect is motivation.For the majority of English learners,they tend to devote more time and energy to English if they have strong English learning motivation,which contributes to the better learning effect and initiative and forming virtuous cycle.Therefore,this study explores the influencing factors of non-English majors’learning motivation in higher vocational colleges and proposes concrete incentive strategies in order to provide reference for relevant specialty teaching.
