In Anti-Duhring,Engels mainly criticizes Durin’s determinism of political violence and idealistic historical view that political violence is the basis and source of all social relations.On this basis,he expounds the historical materialism that plays a decisive role in the mode of production.Marxist historical materialism has important practical significance.The people-centered thought in the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era,the handling of the relations among production,exchange and distribution,and the handling of the relations between economy and politics,culture,society and nature should be guided by historical materialism.
