The flux-switching machine is a new type of the brushless doubly salient DC machines.Its structure is simple,sturdy and durable.It is suitable for a wide range of running speed and has the advantages of high-power density and high efficiency and the prospects for its wide application.In this paper,the development of the three flux-switching machines with permanent magnet,electro-magnet and hybrid excitation is systematically introduced and its analysis methods are reviewed,and then,in accordance with the current problems of the flux-switching technology,its development trend is discussed.
