The Impact of Environmental Regulation on Textile Economic Efficiency

基于2004-2015年我国省际面板数据,采用空间探索性工具实证研究环境规制对纺织经济效率的影响。研究揭示:(1)我国大多数省份的纺织经济效率有提高的趋势;(2)纺织经济效率具有较强的空间异质性,东部地区的纺织经济效率较高,中西部地区的纺织经济效率较低;(3)环境规制对纺织经济效率具有显著的促进作用,通过制定合理的环境规制可以促使企业提高纺织产品的研发,减少纺织业生产过程中所带来的不良影响,提高企业在市场的竞争力,从而促进纺织经济效率的提高。

Based on the provincial panel data of China from 2004 to 2015,the spatial exploratory tools are used to empirically study the impact of environmental regulation on textile economic efficiency.The research reveals:(1)The efficiency of textile economy in most provinces in China tends to increase.(2)The textile economic efficiency has a strong spatial heterogeneity,the textile economy efficiency of the eastern region is high,and the textile economic efficiency of the central and western regions is relatively low.(3)Environmental regulation has a significant role in promoting the efficiency of textile economy.Through the establishment of a reasonable environmental regulation,enterprises can be encouraged to increase the research and development of textile products,reduce the negative impacts of the textile production process,and increase the competitiveness of enterprises in the market.In order to promote the economic efficiency of the textile industry.
