Treatment strategy and controversy of gastric cancer with ovarian metastasis

胃癌卵巢转移并不少见,是导致治疗失败的主要原因之一,易被漏诊和误诊。胃癌卵巢转移患者生活质量差,疗效不佳,生存期短。目前,胃癌卵巢转移在手术和化疗等方面均存在较大争议,尚未形成行之有效的治疗策略,亟需开展大规模、前瞻性、多中心、随机对照临床研究,从而为胃癌卵巢转移的诊治提供高质量的循证医学证据。

Gastric cancer with ovarian metastasis is not rare,it is an important cause of treatment failure in female gastric cancer patients.The misdiagnosis is not uncommon.The treatment efficacy and the survival for the ovarian metastasis are very poor and the life quality of the patients is very low.Today,there are still lots of controversies on the role of the surgery and chemotherapy and there has no successful treatment strategy yet.It is in urgent need to carry out prospective,multicentric,randomized clinical trials to provide the high-quality medical evidences to guide the clinical practice.
