Gastric cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors in the world,and researches on it remains an important hotspot.In the past year,there have been a number of vital studies reported,which may change clinical practice in the comprehensive treatment strategies of gastric cancer,such as perioperative treatment of locally advanced disease,molecular-targeted therapy and immunotherapy of metastatic gastric cancer,new strategies for treating stage Ⅳgastric cancer.This review summaries those important clinical studies,thus readers can quickly understand the latest advances in gastric cancer.
