Promote the Coordinated Development of Urban Agglomeration—Taking the Hohhot-Baotou-Ordos-Yulin as an Example

呼包鄂榆城市群是我国西部地区重要的区域性城市群,在推进形成西部大开发新格局、保障国家能源安全、建设中国北部生态屏障的大格局中具有重要战略地位。基于城市群发展的基础条件和存在问题,未来城市群要进一步有效优化空间发展格局和多层次城镇体系;着力推进城市群产业分工协作,以创新驱动促进产业提档升级,共同打造世界级的现代能化产业基地;切实弥补交通、能源等基础设施短板并提升城市群生态文明共建水平,有效保障城市群可持续发展。

Hohhot-Baotou-Ordos-Yulin urban agglomeration is an important regional urban agglomeration in the western region of China.It plays an important strategic role in promoting the formation of a new pattern of Western development,ensuring national energy security and building ecological barriers in northern China.Based on the basic conditions and existing problems of urban agglomeration development,Hohhot-Baotou-Ordos-Yulin urban agglomeration should further effectively optimize the spatial development pattern and multi-level urban system;strive to promote industrial division and cooperation,promote industrial upgrading by innovation-driven,and jointly build a world-class modern energy-based industrial base;effectively make up for the shortage of infrastructure such as transportation and energy and enhance the level of ecological civilization of urban agglomerations.In addition,Hohhot-Baotou-Ordos-Yulin urban agglomeration should speed up the construction of cooperative development mechanism,so as to provide institutional guarantee for the coordinated and win-win development of urban agglomeration.
