Advances in science and technology have changed the world,including the health care industry.The application of informa-tion technology in nursing clinical operations has gradually replaced traditional paperwork,which has also become the necessary core force for global medical institutions.With the advance of technology,the usage of bar-code system,radio frequency identification,accurate biometrics i-dentification system and other information technologies in patients'identification,greatly reduces the accurrence error.The paper has summa-rized the advantages and disadvantages,amplification area,as well as effect and advice of different information technologies,and then sugges-ted the prospect.Information technology is a kind of artificial intelligence,which should be employed to make sure that patient accepts proper care or treatment at exact time.
