摘要
企业国际化进程中,外宣文本的重要性不言而喻。文章选取四十家中美世界财富500强企业的中英文企业简介,从功能语言学语域视角分析中美企业简介外宣文本异同点,揭示语域差异背后存在的文化价值观差异,提出中国企业外宣翻译应遵守"认同"原则,以期更好地在目的语读者中达到预期外宣效果;同时,"认同"并非完全西化,对外宣传也要体现本国文化自信。
The importance of foreign publicity materials of enterprises in its globalization can never be overstated.In view of this,the present paper,taking40enterprises from Fortune Global500as examples,compares the register differences among Chinese and American enterprises’profile online and analyzes the cultural differences behind them.It also advocates that Chinese enterprises should uphold the principle of identification in translating materials for international publicity for the purpose of achieving their intended purposes.On the other hand,invoking a sense of identification in the targeted international audience doesn’t mean following the style of western enterprises blindly.It is equally important for Chinese translators to have confidence in transmitting Chinese culture.It is hoped that this paper can facilitate the translation of foreign publicity materials of Chinese enterprises.
