The Application of Virtual Reality Technology in Animal Habitat Investigation and Protection——A Case Study of the Banli Area in Trachypithecus Leucocephalus Nature Reserve in Chongzuo,Guangxi

虚拟现实技术是利用交互系统及多个学科交叉应用衍生出的新技术。通过虚拟现实技术对广西崇左白头叶猴自然保护区板利片区8个样点进行全景图拍摄和制作,更加立体地展示白头叶猴栖息地,并以新型宣传方式进行白头叶猴保护宣传,同时通过无人机追踪观察白头叶猴,确定利用无人机技术在动物调查方面的可能性,探究虚拟现实技术与动物生境调查及保护相结合的未来发展方向。

Virtual reality technology is a new technology derived from interactive system and an interdisciplinary application.This study aims to explore the possibility and future development of the combination of virtual reality technology and animal habitat investigation and protection.Through virtual reality technology,8sample points of Banli area of Chongzuo trachypithecus leucocephalus nature reserve in Guangxi were photographed and made,and the habitat was shown more tridimensionally,and the protection could be publicized with this new publicity method.At the same time,the possibility of using drone technology in animal survey was confirmed by tracking and observing the animals.
