唐威戎军位置考

Study on the Location of Weirong Army(威戎军) in the Tang Dynasty

开元二十六年唐朝攻吐蕃新城,拔之,以为威戎军。关于威戎军治所,学术界主要有三种不同观点:一是门源说,位于今青海门源回族自治县;二是金巴台说,位于今青海门源回族自治县金巴台古城;三是海晏说,位于今青海海晏县。考诸史料,门源说和金巴台说不符合文献记载,同时也与当时实际情况不符。事实上,威戎军在海晏三角城,即今西宁城关西180里处。

According to the historical records,in the twenty-sixth year of Kaiyuan(开元)period, the Tang government attacked and took Xincheng(新城)city from Tubo, and set up Weirong Army there.There are three different viewpoints about the site of Weirong Army.The first is Menyuan Hui Autonomous County(门源回族自治县)in Qinghai Province.The second is Jinbatai old city(金巴台古城)in Menyuan Hui Autonomous County in Qinghai Province.Haiyan county(海宴县) in Qinghai Province is the last one.According to the historical records, There were no credible literature records and facts could support the first and second point.The author considered that the third point is correct in this paper.The site of Weirong Army is the Sanjiao town(三角镇)in Haiyan county, which is 90 kilometers away from the west of today s Xining city(西宁市).
