Empirical Analysis of Market Concentration and Its Influencing Factors in China's Papermaking Industry

通过对造纸行业的市场集中度进行初步统计分析可知,中国造纸行业处于较低水平,属于竞争型市场结构。通过数据分析可知造纸行业存在一定程度的产能过剩问题,并伴随着过度竞争。然后,运用多元回归模型对中国造纸行业市场集中度的影响因素进行相关分析。结果表明,去产能政策和环境保护对造纸行业市场集中度产生正向影响,但市场规模对市场集中度的影响不显著,建议造纸行业严格控制产能并建立长效机制,研究环境保护措施,促进行业绿色发展。

Preliminary statistical analysis of market concentration in papermaking industry,China's papermaking industry is at a low level and belongs to the competitive market structure.Data analysis shows that there is a certain degree of overcapacity in the papermaking industry,and it's accompanied by excessive competition.The influence factors of market concentration of Chinese papermaking industry are analyzed by using multiple regression model,results show that the capacity reduction policy and environmental protection have a positive impact on the market concentration of papermaking industry.Howerer,the impact of market size on market concentrations is not significant.Finally suggested that the papermaking industry should strictly control production capacity and establish long-term mechanism,study environmental protection measures and promote green development of the industry.
