木薯优良新品种桂垦09-11的选育及栽培技术

Breeding and Cultivation Techniques of a New Cassava Variety Guiken 09-11

桂垦09-11是广西南亚热带农业科学研究所利用华南5号、华南205进行品种间杂交选育获得的木薯新品种。经多年品比试验验证,该品种历年平均鲜薯产量达45.79 t/hm2,比对照品种华南205增产11.72 t/hm2,平均增幅34.40%;其块根干物率和淀粉率分别为37.61%和31.23%,分别比华南205提高3.38%和2.36%。综合来看,桂垦09-11结薯集中、个数多、薯长浅生、水平伸长,易收获,种茎节密,有利于贮藏和繁殖,是一个高产、高粉、综合性状优良的木薯新品种,适宜在广西大部分中等肥力地区推广种植。

Guiken 09-11 is a new cassava variety bred by Guangxi Institute of South Asian Tropical Agricultural Sciences by breeding of inter-variety hybridization between varieties of Huanan No.5 and Huanan 205.The annual average fresh potato yield of this variety was 45.79 t/hm2,which was 11.72 t/hm2 higher than that of the control variety Huanan 205,with an average increase of 34.40%.The dry matter rate and starch rate of root tuber were 37.61%and 31.23%respectively,which were 3.38%and 2.36%higher than those of Huanan 205.Generally speaking,the fruits of Guiken 09-11 are concentrated,numerous,growing in shallow soil layer,horizontal elongation and easy to harvest.The seed stem is dense and conducive to storage and reproduction.It is a new cassava variety with high yield,high starch and excellent comprehensive properties,which is suitable to be popularized and planted in most middle fertility areas of Guangxi.
