Exploration on Cultural Connotation in Ancient “Zhi”

作为历史文化名镇,轵城在春秋时期就作为军事重镇受到诸侯各国重视,轵国故城曾作为王城营建,表现出许多独特的特征。轵城和轵关一直是进出中原的重要门户,是朝代更替时各方争夺的军事目标,其战略地位尤为突出。轵城是中国古代城市政治经济文化生活的一个缩影。目前轵城历史文化遗存中还体现了古轵国社会文化的兼容并包的独特地域特色,具有重要的研究价值。

In the spring and autumn period,the city of Zhi,as a famous historical and cultural town,was ever attached importance by various vassal states as an important military town and built as a king’s city,which still showed many unique characteristics.The city or the pass of Zhi was always an important gateway to enter or leave the central plains.It was a military goal fought by all parties during the changes of dynasties,and its strategic position was especially prominent.The city is a miniature of political,economic and cultural life in ancient Chinese city.At present,the historical and cultural remains of the city still reflects the unique regional characteristics of compatibility and inclusion of social culture in ancient Zhi,which is of great research value.
