During northern Song Dynasty,Chen Shenghua served as the county magistrate of Jiyuan.His three sons studied in the west source of Ji Shui.The three brothers were all admitted as jinshi and two of them were Number One Scholar in the examination.Since then,their descendants served as generals and ministers of state;Chen family started to succeed from Jiyuan and became famous family of northern Song Dynasty,leaving a long story to say in ancient Chinese imperial examination culture history.Chen family activities in Jiyuan left rich cultural heritage resources,which has important cultural development value.
