Objective:To investigate the participation status of the left and right skeletal muscles of the lower limbs in the Simplified 24-form Taijiquan practice by investigating different exercise years.Method:A 16-conductor Mega6000 portable electromyograph made in Finland was used to perform an integral electromyography(IEMG)quantitative assessment test on the lower extremity bones of 24 elderly Taijiquan exercises in 18 elderly people. Results:The IEMG of the right tibialis anterior and lateral femoral muscles of the control group was larger than the left side. The IEMG of the right lateral femoral and lateral femoral muscles of the experimental group was greater than that of the left and left gluteus maximus IEMG.The load on the anterior muscle is relatively large;Taijiquan exercise lacks exercises on the thigh and calf muscles of the biceps femoris and gastrocnemius. Conclusion:After practicing Tai Chi,the control group should pay more attention to the relaxation exercise of the right tibialis anterior and lateral femoral muscles. The experimental group should pay more attention to the relaxation exercise of the right medial femoral muscle and the left gluteus maximus to eliminate fatigue. At the same time,it provides guiding significance for the rationalization exercise of Taijiquan.
