Digital Humanities in the Peak of Inflated Expectation——Digital Humanities in Library Tribune:A Review and Future Prospects

文章以《图书馆论坛》数字人文来稿为数据源,采用定性和定量分析法,结合新兴科技技术成熟度曲线图,简要回顾"数字人文"专栏设置近两年来的情况,归纳出当前我国数字人文研究的四个特点:数字人文正成为学术型图书馆的创新点和增长点,但大部分图书馆处于数字人文的迷茫期;不同领域的学者和图书馆员在数字人文研究课题上的深度合作稀缺;数字人文存在泛化危机,正在"标签化";数据开放、共享和联合情况不尽如人意。在此基础上,提出推动数字人文走向成熟期的四个基本原则:数字人文应以"人文"为中心;"数字"与"非数字"平衡;问题意识与数据意识深度融合;实现数据的开放性、可验证性与可迭代性。

The authors perform qualitative and quantitative analyses on the papers contributed and published in Digital Humanities,an academic column in Library Tribune,and briefly review the development of the column over the past two years.The authors summarize the four features of current research on digital humanities in China:digital humanities are becoming the innovation and growth point of academic libraries,but it still perplexes most libraries;there is little deep cooperation in digital humanities between scholars and librarians from different disciplines;digital humanities are facing a crisis of overgeneralization and being labeled;data openness,sharing and association are not satisfactory.Therefore,the article proposes four basic requirements for promoting the maturity of digital humanities:focus on“humanities”,maintain the balance between“digital”and“non-digital”,promote the full integration of problem awareness with data awareness,and implement data openness,verifiability and iteration.
