Objective To explore the effect of Pingyang mycin on hemangioma and vascular malformation in oral and maxillofacial region of children. Methods From January 2015 to January 2018,76 cases with oral and maxillofacial hemangioma and vascular malformation in children were randomly selected.According to the principle of single blindness,76 cases were divided into control group and treatment group.Patients in control group(n=38)were treated with dexamethasone, while patients in treatment group(n=38)were treated with pingyang mycin. The therapeutic effects and adverse reactions of the two groups were observed and compared. Results The effective rate of treatment group was significantly higher than that of control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in pre-treatment tumor area between the treatment group and the control group(P>0.05);After treatment, the tumor area of the two groups were both significantly reduced(P<0.05),and the tumor area of the treated group was significantly smaller than that of the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in treatment group was significantly lower than that in control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Pingyang mycin is effective and safe in treating oral and maxillofacial hemangioma and vascular malformation in children, and is worthy of clinical promotion.
