The Nature and Task of Thought: The Debate or Complementation Between Marx-Engels and German Idealism

传统上,马克思和恩格斯被刻画为以康德和黑格尔为代表的德国理念论的反对者。然而,如果我们把德国理念论解释为从纯粹哲学的角度论证了思想之本源性的学说,把马克思和恩格斯的学说解释为从政治哲学的角度论证了物质生活对特定历史—社会中的众多思想进行选择的机制,则两者就可以被视为互补关系。

Traditionally,Marx and Engels were characterized as the objectors of German Idealism which was represented by Kant and Hegel.However,if we interpret German Idealism as arguing the originality of thought from the perspective of pure philosophy,and interpret Marx and Engels’theory as arguing a selection mechanism of thoughts in certain historical society by material life from the perspective of political philosophy,these two theories might be considered as complementary.
