Sci-tech paper is characterized by more illustrations,forms and formulas,so the proof-reading is made complicated.Whether the formulas are correct or not is the fundamentality of the sci-tech paper.Therefore,high attention should be paid to formula checking.Based on the cases from the proof-reading practice,and by analyzing the cases of higher error rate and easierly ignored,it is showed that the formula should be checked from the correctness of quote and deduction,physical senses,consistency of variable symbol,and standardability,and so on.So that the quality can be guaranteed,while provding reference for editors in the field.
