The English poet John Clare has a deep love in his hometown Northampton,who bases his nature writing on the local ecological environment,with criticizing the consequences on the local place by“the Enclosure Movement”,creating a kind of“ever green”language,to express his own wholesome ecological vision.With the analyses of the creating environment,languages,the sense of place and themes in John Clare’s poems,this paper is going to illustrate the poet’s ecological poetics and ecological vision.
