文化外交:黎庶昌的使日之饮与中日关系

Cultural Diplomacy: Li Shuchang's Mission toJapan and Sino-Japanese Relations

自19世纪后半叶起,中日两国开始互派驻外使节,使团人员在促进中日关系与文化交流方面作出了重要贡献。黎庶昌曾两度出任驻日公使,其间他多次举办和参加中日官僚文士宴饮诗会,接连编辑了多本与之相关的宴会诗集。其使日之饮不但弘扬了东方传统文化,推动了中日间的文化交流,而且将文化与外交相结合,促进了中日两国之间友好关系的发展。

Since the second half of the19th century,China and Japan have started to send diplomatic envoys to each other and the staff of the mission have made important contributions to the promotion of Sino-Japanese relations and cultural exchanges.Li Shuchang served twice as the minister to Japan,during which he held and participated the banquet poetry gatherings of Chinese and Japanese officials and literati for many times,and edited many books of banquet poems related to them.This not only carried forward the oriental traditional culture and promoted the cultural exchanges between China and Japan,but also combined culture with diplomacy,and promoted the development of friendly relations between China and Japan.
