This essay explores the significance and values of introducing film&TV initiation education into the compulsory education system by discussing how to carry it out in primary and middle schools and what problems it presently faces and what possible solutions can be offered.The initiation education can be summarized into three aspects:firstly,it can be applied for the enlightenment of knowledge as teaching aids;secondly,it can be adopted for the enlightenment of appreciation as a means to improve national quality;thirdly,it can be used for the enlightenment of filmmaking as a way of visual-audio expression.
