This paper introduces various production processes of tetramethylammonium hydroxide and compares their advantages and disadvantages.Taking actual engineering design as an instance,it elaborates the application of ion membrane electrolysis process in electronic-grade tetramethylammonium hydroxide recovery from the aspect of process flow,raw material consumption,equipment layout and material selection and proposes the points to which attention should be paid in process design.
