英语冠词习得的理论假说与研究进展

摘要 冠词是蕴含语义和语用界面信息的功能语类,二语学习者往往难以完全掌握这一跨语言特征。近十年来,国内英语冠词变异性研究多围绕音韵迁移假说和波动假说展开,然而这两种假说的解释力仍需进一步验证,因此国内冠词习得理论的建构不容忽视。此外,基于冠词的促学研究多局限于其简单用法,缺乏复杂用法的反馈效果验证,所以冠词习得研究宜着眼于不同因素、不同视角、不同层面的综合分析。近年来,诱导产出法后来居上,在冠词习得的研究方法中逐步占据重要地位。 Articles belong to the functional category entailing semantic and pragmatic interface information,which makes it rather difficult for second language(L2)learners to fully acquire this cross-linguistic feature.In the past decade studies on L2 English article variability in China have been focused on Prosodic Transfer Hypothesis and Fluctuation Hypothesis,whose explanatory power remains to be further verified.Therefore,domestic theoretical construction of the acquisition of L2 articles shall not be neglected.In addition,research on the facilitation of article acquisition has been restricted to its simple usage,with the verification of the feedback effects on its complex usage missing in the literature;it is argued that studies on the acquisition of article system shall be based on an integrated multi-level analysis of different factors from diverse perspectives.In recent years the elicitation method has become more popular and played an increasing role in research methodology on article acquisition.
