摘要
针对非英语专业本科生科技英语阅读教学中存在较多的问题。为解决学生以科技英语为工具向专业英语过度的实际应用能力较差的问题,本文以计算机支持的协作学习理论为依据,采用以任务内容为中心的教学方法(TBA),以智能手机进课堂为主要特征,开展以课程阅读内容任务研究为驱动、读译结合、个人奉献与团队共享的科技英语教学模式改革实践,取得了一定的教学效果。
The status quo of EST reading problems for the non-English major undergraduates of Nanjing Institute of Technology is analyzed.The achievement of smooth and successful transition from the leaning of EST to ESP(English for Special Purposes)has been placing an ever increasing demand for the students and teachers involved.In response to the problems and demand,based on the theory of Cooperative Learning,TBA is adopted,featuring smartphones in classroom.The paper discusseshow the task-based approach could be applied to the classroom teaching,by completing tasks collectively and competitively,and combing reading and translation,personal dedication and team sharing.This combined instructional method has achieved certain teaching effects.
