On the Times Connotation of Xi Jinping's Thought of “Self-revolution” and Its Realization

习近平总书记在推进全面从严治党进程中,提出了"自我革命"的重要思想。在新时代,中国共产党之所以要进行自我革命,这是保持党的马克思主义政党性质和坚持党的全心全意为人民服务宗旨的必然要求,是执政党现今的自身状况,以及党面临的严峻挑战和担负的历史使命与时代重任所决定的,也是对中国共产党97年奋斗历程的历史经验的深刻总结;深刻认识党内自身存在的问题,并有勇气解决问题,实现党的"自我革命",必须在坚持人民立场的基础上把政治建设摆在首位,同时加强思想建设,必须把做实基层党建工作和抓好领导干部"关键少数"结合起来,必须把勇于拿起"批评与自我批评"武器和加强党外监督结合起来。

Comrade Xi Jinping has put forward the important thought of“self-revolution”in the process of promoting strict administration of the Party in all-round way.In the new era,the practice of self-revolution by the Communist Party of China is inevitably required for maintaining the nature of the Party as a marxist political party and adhering to the Party s purpose of serving the people wholeheartedly.It is the current state of the ruling party itself.It s decided by the severe challenges the Party faces and the historical mission and the heavy responsibilities that bear.It is based on a profound summary of the Party s historical experience in the course of its 97-year struggle,a profound understanding of the problems within the Party itself and the courage to solve them.To realize the Party s“self-revolution”,it is necessary to give top priority to political development on the basis of upholding the people s position and strengthen ideological construction at the same time by combining efforts to build a solid party at the grass-roots level with efforts to ensure a“critical minority”of leading cadres and by combining the courage to take up the weapons of“criticism and self-criticism”and the strengthening of supervision outside the Party.
