The crown decoration is one of the many ancient women's headwears,and the Song Dynasty is a peak of wearing it.Studies about the crown decoration of woman in the Song Dynasty contributes to understanding the women's life styles in this period.Through literature studies and tomb murals researches,this paper discusses the origin,the classification,the characteristics of the crown decoration of woman in Song Dynasty and the reasons for wearing it.The conclusion shows that it is strongly influenced by social environment and cultural atmosphere of the dynasty.
