构式语法视阈下的大学通用英语教学模式新探

摘要 构式语法是基于使用的语言学理论,它对语言的阐释是建立在对语言使用的充分观察和描写之上,所揭示的语言规律对我们的语言教学有着重要的指导意义。构式,作为Goldberg构式语法的核心概念,被看成是形式和意义及功能的配对体,语言习得载体和词汇—语法连续体。本文基于构式语法理论,拟从宏观的教学理念和微观的教学设计两个维度,探索构式驱动下的大学通用英语教学新模式。 Construction grammar is a usage-based linguistic theory,the fundamental views of which are based on the adequate observation and description of language in use.Admittedly,the laws of language use revealed by construction grammar have significant implications for foreign language teaching.Construction,as a central notion of Goldbergian construction grammar,is defined in terms of its attributes as a pairing of form and meaning/function,an entity of usage-based language acquisition as well as a continuum of lexis and grammar.This paper,based on the notion of construction,explores how construction grammar can inspire college EGP teaching in terms of macro teaching concept and micro teaching design.
