摘要
抽象艺术在西方被认为已经终结了,但是在中国却得到了蓬勃发展。从历史上看,支持抽象艺术的哲学思想有神智论、精神分析、禅宗等等。抽象艺术的终结,在某种意义上源于抽象艺术再也找不到哲学支撑了。中国当代抽象的蓬勃发展,并非源于艺术家找到了一种哲学支撑,而是源于艺术家解除了任何一种哲学支撑,从而将抽象艺术从艺术史的限制中解放出来。抽象之后的抽象的兴起,是当代中国社会开放和多元的象征。
Abstract art has been thought reaching its end in the West.But it is booming in China.Historically,abstract art had been inspired and supported by philosophy such as theosophy,psychoanalysis,Chan Buddhism and so on.The end of abstract,in a sense,is due to exhausting its philosophical resources.The booming of abstract in China is not because Chinese artists find a new philosophy for it,but because Chinese artists undo any philosophical supports and so liberate abstract art from the pale of art history.The booming of abstract after the end of abstract is symptom of open and diversity of China’s society.
