摘要
《功能语法导论》(IFG)是韩礼德最重要的学术著作,比较系统、全面地体现了他的语言学理论。IFG经过历次修订,共有四个版本(IFG1,IFG2,IFG3和IFG4)。本文从互文性角度分析马西森对IFG的修订。一本书不同版本之间的互文,不同于一般意义上的文本间的显性互文,而是"语篇内互文",因为不同版本可以看作是同一语篇的历时过程。马西森在修订IFG的过程中,扩展和充实了语境理论的内容,补充了系统语法,转变了学术范式。学术引用是学术语篇之间的互动,IFG4通过增加引用数量,增强互动和介入,成为了系统功能语言学同仁共同参与建构的语篇。
Halliday’s masterpiece,Introduction to Functional Grammar(IFG),is the overall embodiment of his theories.We have witnessed its fourth edition since its debut.This study conducts an analysis of the revision of IFG with the joint of Matthiessen.The intertextuality between the editions of a book is“intratextal”(Halliday1985),since they are the diachronic development of a single text.Matthiessen contributes to IFG by consolidating the theory of context,making IFG systemic and academic.Citation is the interaction between academic texts.The augmented references of IFG4get the SFL colleagues involved in constructing the common text of their own.
